During residency at Johns Hopkins, Dr. Ruby served as chief medical resident and his fellowship training in Endocrinology at UCLA focused on diabetes, thyroid disease, and obesity. A former local chief of the medical staff, Dr. Ruby serves as the chairman of medical education, Co-chair of the Cardiometabolic Center and continues to provide leadership on the medical executive committee at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center, Torrance.

Dr. Armato practices Internal medicine in Redondo Beach California. He is a former Chief of Staff and prior Board Chair at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center, Torrance, CA. Current Co-chair of the Cardiometabolic Center Dr. Armato received his medical degree from Keck School of Medicine of USC and his practice is focused on personalized strategies to prevent heart disease, diabetes and other conditions related to insulin resistance.
